4th of April
Today I got up and got to the ferry, Then I sat and read about plot and story-structure, one of the books I have bought! Need to learn how to write good stories, before I can revolutionize the way stories are told, so I thought this would be a good start! And it seems to be, the guy writing this book draws knowledge from other books, and does in no way pretend that he had come up with everything, which is a good sign of sincerity, also even though he does not state it directly, he seems to have the same opinion about people who does not want to learn the rules about their craft, but still insist on calling themselves artists, I approve of this man, I bet I will learn a lot from this book!
I will have to try to find the rest of the books in this series! I bet they will be really good for me! Anyway, I got to work and did all the work related stuff, and then I got a ride home with the layout-guy, I sat around in my fluffy dungeon of evil, or my room as I like to call it before heading out to get some grub, in this case once again a burger, after having eaten the burger I went downstairs and drew a bit, read about an event called, AFTER THE SUN and signed up for it, and NO you can't come! It is only for super-awesome people like me!
Then I ate some chocolate, and Now I am going up to drink a glass of lemonade before brushing my teeth and going to bed! I love you all! I would be nothing without my fans! Sorry for the delay, I will try to put a little surprise online for you tomorrow!
Good night my minions!
Day 61
3rd of April
I woke up turned on my computer, fell asleep woke up and wrote with a girl from the dating-site, as I mentioned I had gotten a webcam and we chatted until 12 AM when I went out to get some grub, I got a pastrami sandwich with way too much mustard, when I got back we resumed chatting and stopped around 3-4 PM, at 6 PM I went out to meet up with bo, we went to a book store and I bought three books, two about storytelling, and one about manliness!
We went back and sat around talking with the housemates until 10, when I went home and now I am going to shower quickly and go to bed! Phew caught up with my Journal!

Day 60
2nd of April
Saturday I was getting my tattoo done today, so first I got up and chatted with danish people and girls until around 11 AM, and then I went to best buy to get a webcam, and before you ask; yes I have made a website for awkward 18 year old girls who want to watch Johnny Depp do a sexy strip tease...
No, you wish all you 18 year old girls with your freakish fantasies! No I got a webcam because I have always had one, well I've had two, but both of them have disappeared mysteriously, Electronics are cheaper in the US and my dating duties requires of me to own such an apparatus!
I got the cheapest one they had and went up to the tattoo-parlour and got my tattoo done, I am happy about it!
I went to the house bo lives at, but I knew he wasn't at home, so I sat around playing guitar and went shopping with the two german girls, we ended up buying some beers and hanging out talking until midnight when I went home and went to bed after testing my webcam

Today we had weeklies, I hadn't done anything particularly difficult, but again it was nice seeing the people working there and talking a bit. I got a ride home with the layout-guy, nothing exciting today.

Day 57
30th of March
Once again, behind Schedule, today was wednesday so fortunately not too much excitement going on, I got to work on time and all that stuff, I got a ride to the ferry with a girl from work called Becky, one of the chore artists it was nice to talk to her, since I haven't been talking with enough of the people who work there. As I wrote yesterday I was going to meet up with bo, but we didn't go to a park to play guitar, instead we just sat around in the house for a while and did all the stuff we usually do AND did try to write a song, but we failed because we could really agree on anything, and then around 10 I went home and went to bed.

Day 56
29th of March
Okay, I got up a little late, but I made it to the ferry, the weather was nice again today so the walk to work was pretty nice, sheesh I am just not in a writing mood today, okay I'll make it fast, and head to bed, I got to work and it went pretty much like everyother day, work and online dating.
So I caught a ride home with the layout-guy, and then I went for a burger, mostly because the italian restaurant I had set my eyes on was completely full, another time then.. I went home and ate my burger while I did some more online dating. And then I went to bed... Which means now I am going to bed.. Maybe tomorrow will bring more interesting stuff to write about, I agreed to meet up with bo, and he is kinda hooked on going outside some-place and play the guitar just to see if something interesting happens, if it does I'll be sure to write about it! Good night!

Day 55
28th of March
Today started out nicely, the weather was really good, and on my way to work I got picked up by one of the contractors working there at the moment, and he saved me 20 minutes of my day, but then I got inside turned on my computer and, there was no internet, it is amazing how much you notice that the internet is missing. Everybody was kind of restless, around 1 PM we went to taco bell/KFC's, me and three of the contractors.
When we got back the net was still not working, but it came back a little later. I got a ride to the ferry and wanted to meet up with bo, but he had a headache, that poor guy! So I went all the way home and worked on this piratebabe: http://masquito.dk/images/PirateChickColour.jpg
Now I am heading to bed, it is already 30 minutes past bedtime! Goodnight folks!

Day 54
27th of March
Today I got up, spent some time with the dating-sites and got myself ready to leave, I had agreed with bo that we should meet up and go for a walk today, I got down to his place around 12 and we went to twin peaks with the belgian girl and the french guy from last sunday, when we got up there it was windy and raining a bit, so we didn't stay for too long, I got back to my own place, because I live quite close to the twin peaks.
I wrote a little with the girl from the dating sites again and then I took a shower and went down to eat dinner at bo's place because all the people there were having a dinner together and apparently they like me enough to invite me.
We had pie which was good, then bo and I went to starbucks once again and got a cup of coffee and just hung out speaking danish and being rude without people noticing.. Because we were talking danish.. We are such bad people! Anyway a beggar came in and tried to make a trade for my hat, but I didn't want to trade, I am boring in that way.
We went back and got some dessert, pie, it was really sweet! I decided to head home and so I did and now I am going to bed.. OH! And two people today have complimented me on my pants! People usually only does so once every other week! So today was a good day. Gooooood Night.

Day 53
26th of March
Okay today was pretty relaxing, I did almost nothing, I went out once to go to walgreen's to get me some nuts, mmm pistachios!
Anyhow, I mostly sat around writing with people from back home and with a girl from one of the dating-sites, and eating pistachios. In the afternoon Artemis and her boyfriend came home to look for mice, oh yes I have completely forgot to wrtie that we've had mice, they were small and kind of cute, but mice are mice and mice are generally not wanted in peoples houses.. But they are as good as gone by now we think, we have some electronic mouse scarers or something that sounds like something mice don't like which keeps them away.. I mean keeps them at the neighbours house instead.
They invited me upstairs to Artemis mother because they were having a family dinner, I was just about to finish a message for the girl I was writing with so I finished it and went upstairs to join them, it was really nice they were very open towards me and the food was good so I can't complain.
I went down to my computer again and sat around for a while before I went early to bed.

Day 52
25th of March
Okay it's gonna be short I am getting behind schedule again, today was a little better, at least with the weather, I was able to walk to work without getting too wet, there was a single shower, but it was very short and not that severe.
After work, I took the ferry from larkspur, I met up with bo and we went to a diner to get some dinner, and under-tipped severely, which means we shouldn't be going there again if we know what is good for the food we eat.. Anyhow, after the dinner we went to a starbucks coffee and sat around talking for some time as we like doing.
We went back to bo's place sat around and played guitar for a bit, we considered going to the bar with live music on the balcony, but we decided to just hang around and chill. I went home after a while and went to sleep.

Day 51
24th of March
Okay, so I got up in the morning a little too late so I hurried out, but it was raining pretty hard and my umbrella kept catching the wind, which sucked, I got on the muni and thought I was making good time, meanwhile I was writing pete about whether or not one of the famous larkspur pickups seemed to be probable, which he thought it was, I didn't get to the ferry in time because the stupid muni thinks it is clever to stop all of the sudden and just sit still for a minute, seemingly for no other reason that I shouldn't be able to get to work on time.
Anywho, about now the people working at the ferry have seen me so many times one of them is beginning to start conversations with me, I sat drawing a pirate babe, which is something I do every so often, and ate an apple and drank some coffee.
The weather was pretty rough, but I enjoy being on the sea when the ferry is tipping and the waves come crashing into the hull with loud thuds and bangs.
I got to the pickup spot and waited for 5-10 minutes, got picked up and got dropped of at work, nice! So today we had weeklies, which is a session where the animators can critique each others works, and while people mainly have been asking me if they were mean for some reason I quite enjoyed it, even though I think they went easy on me, this was the first time I met most of the people in the room. But anyway, work got done, and at the same time I wrote a lot with a girl, and as always I will spare the details.
I got a ride home with the layout-guy once again, tomorrow I'll give him some gas money, since I have been leeching off of him quite a lot! I got a cheese burger for dinner, and though it was really good I still feel disgusting for eating it, honestly I don't know what is going on, but I'm eating so little, and mostly healthy stuff like fruit, and when I indulge myself I feel icky afterwards... Am I.. becoming healthy? I hope not! That would be horrible.. Oh! And also I have begun seriously cutting down on sugar, even though I still use artificial sweeteners, but at least I am steering as clear as possible from diabetes!
Ach, okay, good night, more adventures await tomorrow... Sigh, I hope he rain will have stopped by then.. At least rain is nice when you want too sleep.

Day 50
23th of March
Let's see how short I can make this; I got up too late and got on the second ferry, got picked up in larkspur and got to work, I worked and wrote with girls in my breaks, in the evening I got a ride home with the layout-guy and I sat around, first eating dinner then reading through a forum before going to bed.
Wow, that WAS short! Good night

Day 49
22th of March
I got up in pretty good time, but I only JUST made it to the ferry, no time for coffee, and yes I am skipping the muni trip because you've read it a thousand times! I walked to work and realized on the way that I had $2 left in my wallet, I went to the food court but they had no ATM so I had to use my credit card. Hmpf!
Anyway I got to work and today they actually had something for me to do! Which was awesome! Not only one, but FOUR animations! I got the animations blocked out pretty good by the end of the day, even tough especially one of them gave me some trouble, I got a ride to the ferry by the woman I am sitting next to who is responsible for all the language related stuff, translations and so on, and I went to an ATM, I decided to visit bo, but my phone was out of power so I couldn't call him and warn him about my visiting him, I went by subway because it is easy less unhealthy food and ate at bo's place, we sat and played the guitar for a bit then decided to find some coffee, which we failed utterly at, all the coffee shops were closed at 8 PM, we even went to the cheese cake factory, but it seemed like the queue was too long, and the coffee was $5 a cup so we decided to forget about it. I did get some toothpaste though.
I went down to the muni said goodbye to bo and went home, now I am writing my journal, not diary anymore, diaries are apparently for girls.. Because I haven't been able to make my tablet work, I'll try the new drivers though, good night, and good morning to you guys in denmark.

Day 48
21th of March
I will make it super short today, I missed the ferry by minutes, got a ride from larkspur by pete, didn't have much work, wrote very little with girls, a lot with friends, got a ride home with the layout-guy, made dinner washed clothes, fooled around with my tablet a bit and suddenly realized it was 30 minutes past bedtime! So I am going to bed now, see ya tomorrow.

Day 47
20th of March
So bo and I had talked about walking today, if the weather was nice enough, in the morning it seemed rather bleak but as I made my way towards my tattoo-consultation it began looking quite nice, I made an appointment the 2nd of april, which I am looking forward to. I made my way down town, I tried calling bo but failed to reach him a couple of times and went to union square to look at clothes, when finally bo called me, the reception is not that good here, AT&T is not the BEST tele company over here.
Okay so I went to bo's place and we decided to go for that walk, which turned out to be around 15 km. A belgian girl, and a french guy from the house decided to join us, again we asked the french new girl to join us, again with the purest intentions imaginable. But she didn't feel like walking for 4-5 hours for some strange reason. The four of us began making our way toward the presidio park and the west coast of San Francisco. We had to climb some hills, and it was pretty clear that the belgian girl was not really used to walk so far, but we made it to the presidio park and tried to make our way to the opposite site to the ocean, on the way we stopped at a golf club to see if we could get some food, but the cafe was closed, so we went on to the ocean.
Skipping all the walking we came to the ocean and saw the old defence fortifications, which were pretty nice to walk around around, we walked up to the golden gate bridge, we wanted to get something to drink so we went to the kiosk, but it was closed. We went beneath the bridge and made our way to crissy fields, we knew there was a kiosk/cafe there so we went to that, but again it was closed... Everything was just closed, the french guy and the belgian girl decided to take the bus home, so bo and I made our way to the fisherman's wharf to find a place to eat, we ended up at pier 39 at a place called luigi's, we had a buffet, it wasn't brilliant, but they had really good service and free refills, and the lemonade I got only costed me about $2.50, so free refills are pretty good, when we got the bill we saw for the first time a bill that told us how much to tip.. Yes we had indeed entered the touristy part of san francisco.
We made our way home to bo's place and sat around playing the guitar and drinking tea and eating muffins, gaining all the weight we had just lost, then I went home and now I am going to bed.

Day 46
19th of March
So I slept at bo's place which meant I had to sneak out without anyone noticing, we planned it out like this, bo would go downstairs and check the situation and look in his kitchen shelf and notice he had no fruit, then he would go up stairs to me to report; The girl who is supposed to make sure they follow the rules were sitting in the room next to the entrance looking at her computer with her headset on. We decided to try and we went down the stairs making sure that we stepped at the same time so we wouldn't make her suspicious, then bo opened both doors and I rushed out. We were both really excited that we had succeeded and after having gotten far enough away we began laughing.
We went by a fruit store and bought some fruit and went back, this time when we came back bo said; “look who I found”, and apparently she hadn't noticed our stunt, it was so much fun! I had breakfast at bo's place and after hanging out for a while, and after bo skyping with his girlfriend, I had to go to Office Depot and to the tattoo-parlour to get an appointment. On the way we stopped for coffee and just as we came out of the café some guys from double fine called bo and asked if he was up to some jamming, so we split and I got a new adapter at office depot, and went to the muni to get to the tattoo-parlour, I looked through the portfolios of the tattoo artists, but the guy I really wanted was booked, so I found a guy called Nick Rodin and made an appointment to meet up with him sunday to talk about what I wanted to get done.
I went home, hung out for a while and wrote with girls, until the evening I took a shower and got down to meet up with bo and we went on a bar, we asked the new french girl if she wanted to come, of course with the purest of intentions, and not because bo and I for some reason unanimously decided I should try to hook up with her, which means it wont happen. But she had a headache (see?). We went out to the bar we were on yesterday and once again we had a good time, this time around I didn't stick around too long though as I needed to get home to sleep in my own bed, so I went to the muni and got home and to bed.
Day 45
18th of March
Friday, Okay today Sucked so bad I don't even know where to start, but I got up too late and I missed the ferry, it was raining a little bit, but as soon as I got on the ferry it really became bad, so I walked in hard rain to work, and I have used the expression swam to work because it was that bad, half way there I begin noticing hives on my hands and that I am itching all over, I panic for a while thinking it is a poisonous spider bite, I have read that black widows aren't that uncommon in california and though they are quite timid and will hide at any sign of humans I thiught I might have been bitten by one of them, until I realized I had been out of the house for two hours and I didn't feel ill, dizzy or anything else indicating I was about to die, so I calmed myself down and went the rest of the way to work, completely soaked, itchy all over and feeling quite bad about myself.
I didn't have much work today so I wrote a lot with the girl I wrote with yesterday, We are quite hitting it of in my opinion. But I have also begun modelling myself once again in 3D, for the exercise and for whenever I don't really have a lot to do.
I got a ride home with the layout-guy who is now the last standing layout-guy since the layout-girl was laid off, I made some dinner and got a hold of Bo, we met up at his place, and I met a new resident, a french girl who was falling asleep in the couch which was really cute. Bo and I went to a bar where they played some really nice music with accordions, cello and all the good kind of instruments, I got a couple of beers and bo tried their non-alcoholic drinks, we found out that I was too late to catch the metro home and decided that I could go sleep at bo's place, since he had a bunk bed in his room and no room mate, even though I weren't really allowed to sleep there. We are such rebels!
And oh yeah, before I left home my adapter blew up... Today sucked...

Day 44
17th of March
So nope I am still sick, which sucks.. But I got up and got to the ferry, but just a little too late so I wrote Pete and asked whether he was able to pick me up in larkspur which he could, I got to work there wasn't much to do so I ended up spending a lot of time writing with another girl from the dating-site, again I feel obligated not to disclose too much about other people like that, so I'll say she was nice, and seems pretty darn cool.
I caught a ride to the ferry with pete, after which I went out in the town to find myself a new hat, I got the hat and made my way home to get myself ready for sct. Patrick's day, I took a shower and put on all the green I could muster and went down town and into the first interesting bar I came across, I ordered a green budweiser as they had a special on that today, and I spoke with a couple of law students a bit, until I decided to call bo, I had tried calling bo earlier, but I knew he was jamming with people from double fine so I hadn't been able to get a hold of him, but this time I did and we met up shortly and walked for a bit until I went home.

Day 43
16th of March
Today I got up and felt pretty good, yesterday was a good day and maybe this day would be to, the trained was more crammed but I got to the ferry pretty early, I got my coffee took the ferry and walked to work without anything remarkable happening to me, so I thought it might just be an ordinary day after all.
I got to work and while I cannot tell you what I did for work I can tell you what I did for not work, because the poor, poor girl I had written yesterday had written me back, We wrote back and forth for a while and she seems nice, I don't feel like divulging too much information, mostly because this blog is about me, and some people don't appreciate old creepy pig-men writing too much about them in their perverted online blog, so you'll just have to live with she was nice, and I did enjoy writing with her.
Also a girl wrote me on the dating site, but I can only read what she wrote if I pay 19 kr. And I can't pay those 19 kr. While I am in the states, which is a shame because though I do not see myself having the same political opinions as her I do not see a problem with it, and besides that she looked pretty cool.
Woah this dating thing turned out to be a good pagefiller in this blog!
Anyway, I caught a ride home with pete, it was nice talking with him again it had been a while and pete is a cool guy. I got home made sausages and wrote a short story, I unfortunately can not disclose in this forum and I may even refuse to tell it if you ask me about it, or maybe I won't, who knows.
Artemis came home we watched faceoff a reality series competition about guys making FX masks and makeup for film and stuff, which is really cool, and afterwards she helped me to take a look at a couple of tattoo parlours in SF, I am thinking I will just take my sketches and my reference and ask them to help me make the design.
But Now I will head of to bed, and in my bed I will draw for a while and then I will sleep and then I will dream about not being sick, and then I will wake up and not be sick! Awesome!

Day 42
15th of March
YEAH! Today was a great day, sweet sweetness caressing my sugar-coated gummi-heart! But I'll get to that.
My day started of by me getting up on time feeling very much like staying in bed, getting my clothes on and brushing my teeth while my cellphone recharged a took on a coat grabbed a couple of apples for breakfast got my phone and went out the door, when I got to the metro it was not crowded, it was actually perfect, I had to stand up one station and then I could sit down the rest of the way all the seats were filled and only a few people stood up, and I like being around people and watching people so I did, until I got to the embarcadero, I got of the metro-line and went up into the foggy moist air, and went onwards to the ferry I washed my hands in the public rest rooms because I had coughed a bit on the metro and wanted to try and keep my hands as sanitary as possible so I wouldn't get anyone else sick.
I bough a cup of coffee and got it almost before I could pay, then I sat down and watched the ferry approach the harbour, when it came close I went out to the entrance so I could avoid the massive amount of people coming from larkspur every morning.
When all the people had got off the ferry I went onboard and for the first time in a while I got to sit in the seat I have chosen as being my seat, the last two or three times I took this ferry some annoying goth girl kept stealing it from me, how dare she!?
But this was great! My seat was mine again, can anybody spell O.C.D.?.. Anyway, I think I saw some animal swim away from the ship but it was just out of the corner of my eye and when I tunred my head only the ripples in the water remained, it was probably just a seal, but lets play pretend that it was a great white shark! I ate my apples, drank my coffee and all too soon we arrived in larkspur, I walked the 50 minute walk to work, on the way I stopped in the food center to buy me some bread and pastrami for lunch.
As always I won't comment on work, which reminds me, I have to write a paper about my internship, but I don't know anything else about that, hmm.. I'll write someone tomorrow. But! What I CAN say is that I had a few breaks from work and one of the two (yes two), dating-sites paid off! A girl had written me because she found my remarks on the sites forum interesting, and because anyone who looked at least slightly like johnny depp deserved to be written to. Which made me happy, though I wasn't really interested in her partly because she was only nineteen.
I caught a ride home with one of the layout guys AGAIN, that poor guy must be so tired of me by now. But I have to get home somehow! When I got home I got another hit on the other dating site, which means she must have been up at around 3 pm, but anyhow that dating-site wouldn't tell me who unless I pay a small fee, but I had noticed who visited my profile just before I left work, and I kinda figured it must have been her, the mail I got from the datig site told me she was nineteen from copenhagen, and the girl who visited my page was, nineteen and from albertslund, so there was a pretty good chance, but again nineteen is five years younger than me, and I haven't even shaven my beard on any of the photos!?
But Bo wrote and I went downtown to meet up with him we went to walgreen's and bought candy, and then walked to union square where some big private party was taking place we began imagining who could afford to rent union square for a party, and it began to rain more and more heavily so we went home to bo's place, bo played a song he had written about a guy who was eight bull's(or something) strong, but only four straws long, and how his unhappy search for a house ends with him hurling himself too far away..
Then I went to montgomery station to get home, I waited around for a bit before the right metrotrain came, a couple of girls were going the same way as me, one of them had really nice features and a beautiful dark hair, I couldn't help but stare a little bit, I hope she took as a compliment instead of being disgusted and stuff.. But I got home and got online, I decided to be a dirty old bastard and contact the poor, poor girl who may or may not have pressed a button on a dating site that said; “interested”, even though she is only nineteen, and even though I had mostly expected the dating-site to lead to hilarious stories of complete and utter fail on my part which I could scribe in this the most sacred of all artefacts, my diary about san francisco, stories that would lead to many laughs and good times when read by the people.. Ahem, also I got online to write this tale of greatness, of bravery and of sweet, sweet stupidity!
Oh, and yes it was a good day because girls showed some kind of interest in me... That sounds sad..

Day 41
14th of March
So when I woke around 7 this morning I was pretty sick again, which sucked because I thought I was getting better, I went back to sleep and slept until 11 am, when I got up I realized that maybe I was getting more sick because I didn't eat anything yesterday, so I decided to change that today.
I sat around at my computer until 1 pm and then took a shower got some clean clothes and cut my nails and drank the rest of my tea before heading out, by then it was 3 pm.
I went to the haight and got a burger, as my previous encounters with american burgers this was a success. I went back home checked my dating profile, and surfed on the computer whilst drinking tea.. Wow being sick is really boring...

Day 40
13th of March
okay wow, nothing happened today I ate an apple and two eggs, drank several liters of tea and sat in a chair playing with my new tablet and watching tv.
Nothing exciting.. Oh! I checked my dating profile... nothing interesting on that front either actually... Most of the girls there are just too pop to rock :P

Day 39
12th of March
So today people was celebrating sct. patrick's day even if it is still 5 days off.
I got up and out of bed rather late, I took the muni to van ness station and walked to the mission, I went for a shop we had been in earlier with a lot of neat clothes, I could spend a fortune in there if I was given the chance.
I wanted to buy a green bowler, but they only had small and I needed a large, I asked if they had any larger bowlers, or derbies as they are called over here, but they only had black and baby blue in large, and I can't rock a babyblue bowler.
Then I went back towards van ness to meet bo, we met up at 16th and mission and went for creppes at the place michelle had taken us previously. We sat there and agreed to meet up later since I wanted to buy a tablet and bo wanted to go to the golden gate park, I went to an office depot, but they didn't have wacom tablets in the store, the the clerk told me I could go out on the street take the first left, then the first left and then the first left and I would be able to see a best buy store and they should have it, he DID say there might be a better way to go, but I thought it best to follow his directions and so I did, when I turned around the last corner I realized he was right, there WAS an easier way, which was turning right.. But I got in the best buy store, bought my tablet and made my way home.
I spent some time trying to make the tablet work and checking my dating profile, and taking a bath and getting some neat clothes on, then I went down to meet up with bo.
We hung out and went out to grab some food and get a beer some-place, but I ended up just getting myself a beer in a liquor-store and going back to drink it at bo's place whilst playing guitar and failing at singing because my voice would break.
I went home around 12 PM.

Day 38
11th of March
Okay this is a friday, I felt a little better and thought I could go to work, so I did, and I got there without too much trouble, it was bagel day so I didn't go for lunch and thusly I cannot really tell anything really interesting about the day, unless it happened before work, hmm... I don't think anything really interesting happened sadly, but I caught a ride home was there around 7, I took the muni out to bo after having taken a shower and getting some Machine Island CD's for him to distribute at double fine, when I got there I persuaded him to join me for dinner even though he had already eaten, we went to a burger place near union square, american burgers are really good if you buy them some place that isn't burgerking or McDonald’s.
We went back and played guitar and I could feel myself getting more and more sleepy, I clearly wasn't well yet, which could also clearly be heard on my voice when it cracked and when I coughed.
After a while of hanging out I went home and went to sleep.

Day 37
10th of March
Didn't get better, it got worse.. I stayed home today watching television and hanging out on my laptop, I got bored and decided that I wasn't getting rejected enough by all the girls in the world and started a dating profile, I didn't expect to find anyone interesting there, and to no surprise I didn't.
I played arcanum again which was cool, it had certainly been a while and nostalgia always is great in my opinion.
I went to the haight and got pizza for dinner, and went to bed.

Day 36
9th of March
Not much happened today, the metro was stuffed so I got too late for the ferry, when I got to larkspur I caught a ride with Pete because he was running late to, around 3 PM i began to get a headache, and after catching a ride with one of the contracters I began feeling pretty ill, I got home sat in a chair and didn't move much the rest of the evening, Artemis hooked me up with tea and all sortsa stuff so hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow so I can go to work without whining too much about it.
I'll head early to bed tonight I think, but first I'll drink some tea and feel sorry for myself a little more.

Day 35
8th of March
So I missed the ferry this morning because the metro was all sorts of mixed up, a ton of people and delays all over the rail, but I got my coffee and relaxed until the next ferry docked, I got on the ferry and went to work, work work work, and I went towards home I got a ride with pete to the ferry, and had decided to go check the prices on tablets in office depot downtown, so I met up with bo and we foud some-place to eat, and that some-place was the vegetarian restaurant serving dishes with meat. We would discover to our slight disappointment that it wasn't actually meat but soy products and all sortsa' genetically engineered stuff, high tech I tells ya!
Afterwards we went to office depot and discovered that it was closed, so instead we went for coffee at starbucks since they were most likely to be open, we went back to bo's place and hung around played guitar and stuff for a bit then I went home and now I really need to go to bed, I am already 10 minutes past twelve, and I have to get up early tomorrow to. So good night before I fall asleep in the keybolqefffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff...

Day 34
7th of March
So today I went to work, I took the usual route I take when I get to work on my own, got up between 7.00 and 7.30 out of the door around 7.40 got on the metro between 7.50 and 8.00, bought a hot cup of joe at peet's around 8.25 got on the ferry at 8.30, arrived at larkspur 9.00 went to the food mart around 9.30 bought fruit and stuff and arrived at work around 10.00.
I had bought lunch so no excitement there, I got a ride to van ness station and taking the metro to carl & cole I went home took a shower and went down to cole street again to find some food, I went to a place called burger meister and got myself a cheese burger, it was pretty good and the guy serving the food was smiling all the time and seemed very happy which was nice, I got a pink lemonade to my food, I am going to miss lemonade when I get back to denmark.
I went back and got on my computer, after a while I got tired and went to bed, after a while I could hear artemis coming home after her weekend with her boyfriend, I fell asleep soon thereafter.

Day 33
6th of March
Today I hung around at home watching tv, playing computer and hanging. I got out of the house once to go to walgreen's it was raining so I brought an umbrella, bought a bottle of soda, some peanuts and two packs of pepperoni snacks, that was my dinner, nom nom. Sundays can be pretty boring sometimes, but I got to see judge dread on the tv. That has to count for something right?

Day 32
5th of March
Saturday I went down to meet up with bo, who was talking with his girlfriend on his Ipod when I arrived, he let me in and he talked on while I ate his blueberries and played the guitar and slowly but surely became more and more tired, so when he was done I demanded we went to get coffee, and so we did, bo even got a cup of cafe latte, we sat around in the cafe talking danish (like the arrogant hipster danes we are) and contemplating our next move, we had agreed with the other people in the household that we would go to a hipster party called mission united, celebrating all things mission i.e. all things hipster.
We left the cafe and walked around a bit not really going anywhere and when we got home it was pretty late, so I got my GDC stuff we had stashed at bo's place and we went up to the place I am living, we sat there for a bit recharging bo's Ipod on my computer while we surfed around and took some photos of bo in a chair.
Then we went down to the hipster-party, but soon realized that neither of us knew where it was, so we wandered around in the mission district for about an hour and a half, asking for directions several times and getting different answers each time, finally we asked two girls, one of them was a pretty hot hipster-chick, and they first gave us the wrong direction, met us there and corrected their mistake, and when bo and I finally found the place it was pretty impressive in our own minds that we were able to, the party was located in what appeared on the outside to be an old warehouse situated under a highway ramp, to get to it you had to walk on a heavily trafficked way and walk down a road called erie (pretty close to eerie), with wire fences on each side.
But the party was really fun, it took a while for us to feel comfortable there but once we found three other people living at bo's place it was all good, you could buy eccentric home-made clothes, during the party there was a photo-shoot, you could watch, there was some food stuff going on and crazy fun music, so after having seen stuff bo began dancing, and as soon as he is having fun it is not hard to let yourself go and dance as crazy as you like, because you always know bo will be the one looking more ridiculous and crazy, in a good sort of way..
But around twelve or one or something people began getting tired, so did I dancing is tough, so we went home, the four of them living in the same place took a cab and I decided to try and walk, it took me one and a half hour, but it was kinda fun just seeing how long it would take. I got home and sat around writing on msn with my mom before going to bed.

Day 31
4th of March
Woah, I cannot believe we got through that in one piece! And all in time for GDC, I bet no one will believe that it actually happened! Anyway today was GDC, and it was cool, I got up a little too late and went down to a copy store to make some xeroxes of the title for the CD's with Machine Island I burned out for GDC while fighting the [this text has been scratched of somehow] yesterday, multitasking does come in handy when saving the world.
Anyway I got the copies and headed down to meet with bo at montgomery station, before heading to GDC, I got a cup of coffee and we headed towards the event, when we arrived we got on some computers and filled out a form and went on to a counter where we got the pass for GDC, excited we went down some escalators and into the expo, we went around for a bit and became increasingly aware that the majority of the companies weren't really interested in talking with people as they would just ask us to go to their website and apply for a job. But I had the chance to give away a few copies. We met with michelle, the head of the animation workshop while waiting around for a guy from blizzard bo knew, and decided to grab lunch soon, while we waited around for the guy michelle went around passing out the bachelor filmsto the companies and when she came back we were already talking with the blizzard guy, I gave him a copy of machine island, and he said he would look forward to playing it, also he was pretty stoked to finally meet bo, the guy who had not only corresponded with him several times about art related stuff, but had saved his favourite [again a word is scratched off] just yesterday.
Anyway, we went for crepes at one of michelle's favourite places in san francisco, it was pretty good, and it was nice to talk to michelle again and being able to brag about saving the world now for the fifth time. When we went back to the city michelle had to be going so bo and I went back to the GDC as the dynamic duo we are (like batman and superman, not like batman and robin). When we got there it was closed, and to make a long story short we suddenly found ourselves in the double fine headquarters, never before had I seen such homely office space and neither will I again if all transpire as the fortune-teller told me wednesday. We then met the guys who made Limbo, Playdead and talked about our bachelor projects and the prospect of applying for a job at playdead, also I got a tour of the famed, nay the legendary double fine studios, seen by few know by many, on the walls were etchings of the legend of psyconautica, a story so ancient that time and space itself may not yet have been around when it happened.
We left the double fine HQ, and went home to bo's place to play guitar and hang around, and so we did for a little while until we agreed to go to a bar in north-beach, we went past a lot of bars until we finally found one we thought looked like a bar and not a club, so I got a beer, and we sat down, but apparently we accidentally joined a birthday-party, the birthday-girl was really drunk and screeched everything she said at us, not unlike the [again with the scratching out, this is really annoying..] we fought off monday evening.
So we left as soon as my glass was empty and an opportunity arose, we then went to sutter street and found a pretty decent bar there, decent meaning all the women were clearly worn out, and all men were bearded drunk and older than forty. I enjoyed a beer here and the lack of screaming when suddenly I realized that if I wanted to take the metro back I would have to finish my beer soon, I told bo what I had come to realize and I drank my beer and we left, when I got home I went straight to bed, luckily I had been able to get a train-car that went to the closest station so I didn't have to climb the mountain of 17th street.

Day 28
1st of March
Took the ferry to work again, got there in pretty good time today, so I got my coffee, I got on the ferry and went by the food court to buy oranges and bread for the sausages I had prepared yesterday.
While I was at work bo asked if I wanted to hang out, which I did, so I caught a ride to the city and met up with bo, we walked around town a bit and decided to go to McDonald’s, even though I have been at burger king we decided it was an obligatory visit, and then it happened!

Day 27
28th of February
Back to work, I took the ferry today, again the metro caused me some problems and I only just caught the ferry because I decided to skip the visit at peet's coffee and grab coffee at work instead, I had an apple, but when I took a bit it looked weird inside so I threw it out and got myself a fiber/fruit/something bar for breakfast and then head to the food court on my way to work, I was really surprised when I found out that 5 LB oranges costed $1, that is hella cheap as they say in LA.
I went on to work via the scenic route, for lunch I had chinese but I brought it back so I could work while I ate. I caught a ride to the city back, I made sausages for dinner and prepared sausages for lunch next day.

Day 26
27th of February
So today was sunday, pretty laid back, didn't have as bad a hangover as I would have expected, but I sat around the house all day, first I finished my rubik's cube, then I burned out CD's for GDC next week, while I watched tv. I went out to find some food for dinner, I went to haight st. which had a lot of different possibilities, but ended up buying to slices of pizza at a pizzaria not far from where I live, I went back ate and watched tv, a little later Artemis came home and we talked shortly before I went to bed.

Day 25
26th of February
Okay, today I went to myir woods, finally! Bo had gotten a ride with a guy from his work at double fine, and a friend of his, so we were five in total with friederikke who also really wanted to go to myir woods before she went back to germany, we met up with the car and the guys driving it around 9-10 AM and drove out to myir woods, they wanted to go down a different path, but it was closed so we had to go through the touristy part of the woods, myir woods is a national park with huge redwood trees.
Walking through the forest i half expected to see ewoks running around in te bushes, but I had no such luck, we walked until around 3-4 PM and stopped at something called the something-theatre with basically was a amphi-theatre in the middle of the forest, it had a pretty good view and we took a break there before going down. I was pretty disappointed with the lack of animals trying to kill me, there were signs with mountain-lions and rattle snakes, but not once did I get eaten or poisoned.
We stopped at a brewery/restaurant on the way home I got a delicious pizza and a pale ale, when we came to downtown San Francisco I talked bo into joining me in the mission district to find some funky clothes, but we failed at finding anything but a really awesome shop I need to visit next weekend to look at hats.
When I got home I took a shower and got ready to hit the town, I was a bit tired, but after a short while Artemis came home with her boyfriend and they brought beer and bourbon, the two most important b's in beverages, or something. I got pretty smashed and we went to the bar we thought was playing japanese american folk yodelling gig, but we were wrong, so slightly confused we ate a pizza and drank some alkohol, since it was a pizza + beer bar, after discovering the fact that we were on the wrong bar we went on to the correct bar, to hear what I can only fail to describe effectively but will try to do anyway, a japanese guy with a heavy accent, singing american folk songs and yodelling. Now that might sound pretty weird, but it was even more weirdtacular than that.
When I finally got to bed I was really drunk, then I slept woke up went upstairs, failed to puke my guts out stuck my hand down my throat, threw up and slept like a baby when I came back to bed.

Day 24
25th of February
Today i took the ferry, I got down on the metro, got on the train, that for some reason had decided to be REALLY slow and stand still on every platform for two minutes before opening the doors, so I got to the ferry too late, I went to peet's and got coffee and waited for the next ferry.
I took the scenic route and I think I saw a hummingbird, when i got home for work I wrote my thesis, so not much excitement that friday.

Day 23
24th of February
Okay, honestly i am writing this monday the 28th, which means it has been some time since i last had time to write in my diary, and some of my memories may be a little vague, but let us play pretend; as far as i can recall I had arranged to meet up with pete again today and I went down there, Artemis was up and we talked about the weekend again and about GDC, I got out a little late and called pete to tell im i would be five minutes late, I came to his house just as he had gotten to the car, so the timing was perfect, he drove me to work.
For dinner I went with the layoutguy i ate with yesterday, he wanted sushi, and I went to togo's, the sushi plave was closed, so he had to go to togo's aswell, we drove back because i wanted to work on my thesis and my work.
I got a ride home with the layout guy, it was a bit of a detour for him but people are nice, I spent the rest of the evening working on my thesis.

Day 22
23 of February
Soo... No magical girls... Meh who needs magical girls anyway.
Today I was getting a ride to work with pete, I woke up at the precise moment my phone should have woken me up, but it didn't, this was not the first time and annoyed I realized that once again my phone had run out of battery because it was searching for network like a mad-phone. But I got up and went out to meet pete where he lives.
We drove to work and I got a glaced donut because one of the testers had bought donuts, nom nom, for lunch I went to KFC with the layout-guy that is a guy, finally I had tried this poultry goodness that is KFC, now I won't have to do it any more.
I got a ride home with the guy from marketing, I think I have mentioned him before and he invited me to a motorbike party on saturday, but I was already invited to a shindig on saturday so I declined, oh yeah, after I had posted my diary yesterday artemis came home and she invited me to that shindig I was just talking about, so this weekend I'll actually get to go on a bar, listen to some music drink some alcohol and maybe meet magical girls?
But I got home and started cooking some food, while I prepared some stuff for GDC next week, I am going to burn out a bunch of CD's with my portfolio and Machine Island on them, and hand them out to people from game companies.
Oh yeah, if you don't know Machine Island check it out: http://www.machineisland.dk/
Artemis came home, I began writing on my thesis and now I am heading to bed, whilst writing this... Yawn... I is the tired, nite!

Day 21
22nd of February
Today I got up and took the metro, as I have dubbed it, got breakfast at peet's took the ferry to larkspur and walked to work, it was very nice weather so I couldn't complain really, I took the scenic route and got a little late for work, but it wasn't too bad.
I got chinese for lunch with one of the two remaining layout-guys, one of which is actually a girl so the term layout-guys is less fitting when it is a guy and a girl, instead of two guys and a girl, anyway, I went with the guy to a chinese restaurant and had some very good chinese food.
When I got off work I caught a ride with pete, who were recuperating from directing episode 2 of Back to the Future the game, which reminds me, if you do play the game then notice the lipsync on the songs in episode 2, I did most of those, but only the lipsync, I can tell you now because the game is released.
He put me of on haight st. because he needed to grab some dinner, and I bet he needed to relax for a bit and be on his own, as he was still recuperating as I mentioned, so I went home, I got lost for a bit, but when do I not get lost? I got home started preparing food, which I will eat in a little while, afterwards I'll write more on my thesis paper, I am having a bit difficulties writing about games without being biased and leaning towards glorifying computer games as the ultimate media for story-telling. But I'll try my best to be objective and not let computer games' awesomeness overpower my obligation to portray film a competitive media.
Maybe more excitement will come my way tonight, but I seriously doubt that a.. Let's say, about 1,60 m. slim, tall brunette, with emerald-green eyes, an original yet appealing fashion-sense, in her early twenties will magically fall into my lap, AND that we would both be into each other, because each of those two happen all the time, but at the same time, now that would be exciting. And no, the blond 1,50 m, hazel-eyed flirty girl in a very lowcut red dress, that magically appeared in my lap about two minutes ago is not considered exciting, though she did give me the idea to write about what would be, so if you are a magical girl fitting my description don't hesitate to suddenly appear in my lap.. Or right now you would appear in the middle of a table, so maybe you should just appear very near me so you wouldn't get stuck in any furniture.
And yes, if such a girl magically appears, I'll be sure to write about it.
Day 20
21th of February
Not much exciting has been going on today, got up late, began writing on my thesis, then I went down and met with bo to look at hats, oh yeah! It was president's day, which meant I didn't go to work, so that's why I could sleep and go hat shopping.
We went to a couple of different stores, we went to two really expensive stores that sold gentlemen's clothes, which were suits that costed 10 times as much as they should, common hats for $100, fake ducks and hunting clothes, you could really tell that the people who usually did their shopping there was billionaires, and they didn't really appreciate us being in their fancy shop since we clearly could not afford to pay $50 for a $5 snickers bar.
But bo did get himself a nice hat in a much cheaper store. I got myself a new jacket for $50, which was just as much as it seemed the gentlemen stores would want me to pay for a snickers bar, had they had snickers bars in stock, and it was a nice jacket to!
We got nachos for lunch, then I went home and wrote on my thesis and on these diary pages, so now it's time for bed since I ave to get up tomorrow and get the ferry to work. Good night, or good morning since you are just getting up as I write this shizzle!

Day 19
20th of February
So today the weather was good, which meant we would try to get to myir woods, we went to the bus that was going to take us to sausalito, and waiting for the bus I noticed a gang-member talking with a dude sitting behind us, he showed the guy were he has had his finger chopped off, and I could clearly see some of his gang tattoos, pretty crazy, we changed bus and after a short ride we tried to walk the rest of the way, but we decided it was too dangerous when there was road turns every 5 meters and 20 cm of ground to walk on.
We headed back down to the town and tried getting hold of a taxi that might take us out there, but we decided to walk back to sausalito in stead, it was a good one and a half hour walk, then we took the ferry to fisherman's wharf and went towards the ferry building, we ate dinner in an (almost) all organic restaurant I got pizza with duck.
Then we went to bo's place played a little guitar, and I talked bo into going to a bar with me, since I could use a beer and I didn't want to go alone, so we went around and finally found a place called rogue or the rogue or something similar and we just sat and talked, there weren't many girls to look at and I had to get home as well, so after two beers we called it a day and I went my merry way. Home that is, and then I slept.

Day 18
19th of February
Today I got up and got myself down to bo's place, it was rainy so we decided not to head to myir woods as we had planned to do, so instead we went to a very underground very secret photo-exhibition, apart from us there were seven people who all knew each other and clearly were connected to the place.
So after we talked about how the composition of the buttons in the elevator really captures the struggle in society to strife towards materialism, we went out of the artsy exhibition and went to the museum of cartoon arts, yes as if expressionistic photographs weren't enough we went to look at cartoons, fortunately this was less expressionistic and pretentious, which was good because I was already dangerously near a hipster-artist-overdose! But on the upside there was two girls we paid admittance to, and one of them was very talkative for the half minute between me telling them we were from an animation school and us getting inside to the exhibition.
Anyway, it was pretty standard stuff, they had a couple of originals from looney toons, a couple of layouts, and a lot of satirical and newspaper comics. After seeing the museum we took a look in the museum store but there was nothing of interest except pez, but I didn't even buy those. We got back to bo's place and relaxed for a bit, then bo and I went out to find some food, we found a really good italian restaurant just across the street from all the strip clubs, anyway we got some food and after that I went home, I am being kinda quick about this entry, and the next couple of entries since I got behind on my diary schedule.

Day 17
18th of February
So today it didn't rain at least, I went down to Castro station and took the metro/underground-train/whatever.. Actually let's just call it the metro..
I got up and began walking, I walked for about 15 minutes and thought it strange that I hadn't come to the ferry building yet, but I walked on believing it soon would appear within view, then I saw a metro access, and I thought that was strange so I began looking for the ferry building, and it turned out I had walked the wrong way.
I ran and walked back towards the ferry building, but I knew it was too late anyway, so I stopped running and went in to grab some coffee and breakfast at peet's the coffee was better this time, but I did pour more sugar and milk in it this time, so maybe there is some sort of coffee sugar/milk relation that determines the taste of the coffee, I will have to remember this.
I got on the ferry and walked by the scenic route to work, took some pictures of a stupid bird that kept doing stuff I didn't want it to do and being annoyingly posed all the time, there was bagels and fruit at work, so I didn't go to lunch.
Later I caught a ride with one of the layout-guys, who now sadly is an ex-layout-guy since his contract expired and the company did not renew it, “c'est la vie; say the old folks”, I got on the ferry with a girl who works with customers and grabbed a beer.
Then I met up with bo and we got ourselves chinese foods, not very good, but very cheap and exciting as you never knew what you were eating, after we got food we went back to bo's place, but not before I had got a beer and bo had got an ice tea, then we played guitar and talked until 11, where I went home and slept, and they lived happily ever after till the next day, see ya folks.

Day 16
17th of February
Today I got up early, or well I tried to get up early, but I got up early enough to commute to work, I got all my stuff together and got ready to leave, despite it being really rainy outside, but before I left I realized something, I had no wallet, then began the search, I looked everywhere.
I tried writing the guy who gave me a lift yesterday, but I did not manage to get a hold of him before he was at work, so I decided to take the ferry with some money I had stashed away, when the woman who's house I live in came home, we had a cup of coffee talked and I decided to show my digital rubik's cube to her, so I got my back pack and took out my laptop, but when I tried to get it back inside my backpack it simply wouldn't fit! So I pulled whatever was in the way out of there, and guess what, it was my wallet.
I borrowed an umbrella and went to work, you wouldn't believe how funny a rainy day and a city full of steep hills are, I saw a flight of stairs with water pouring down like a waterfall, I was in a rush so unfortunately I did not get a picture.
I got on the metro/light-rail/what-ev's-man and got to the ferry just as the passengers began to leave the ferry, the trip to larkspur today was pretty awesome, which reminds me I forgot to mention that the MoA has dropped all charges, and my blog will be compensated with an extra amount of awesome this weekend! Sorry sidetracking, but the waves were pretty tall and the ferry swayed from side to side.
I had arranged for me to be picked up by one of the layout guys, which was really cool because I was already late. We grabbed lunch, I got a beef chilli and cheese sandwich, it was good but the chilli-sauce got all over the place. I arrived at work around 1.15 PM, only a bit more than 3 hours late.
When I got to San Francisco again, after a less interesting ferry-ride I went to AT&T's and got myself an american phone-number, which is essential I have realized. I got on the underground train thingy I never know what to call, and got of at castro, the gay neighbourhood, I then walked up 17th street, which is steep, and up hill all the way, so I have burned a lot of fat in my legs, which means I'm really funny looking, with fat fingers and skinny toes. I got home exhausted and tried to set the internet up correctly on mine and... okay I am gonna use a few names now and again... artemis' computer, artemis is the woman who lives in the house where I am renting a room, and I am using her name, because saying that each time is too silly, and she doesn't really fit under the term land-lady I think.
But I got it to work correctly and after doing some research on renting offices and maya and stuff one would need to start a proper company, I decided to take a shower and go to bed, so I did, or well at least the shower part, right now I am writing diary, but after this I am heading to bed so I can get up tomorrow morning and commute, and today I know where my wallet is, so no panicking tomorrow! Please, no rain tomorrow, fingers crossed. Goodnight!

Day 15
16th of February
This morning I had a ride to work with pete which was nice, so I got up way too early, but it was okay, I packed my stuff, took a shower and generally took my sweet time, I got outside around 9 and got picked up a few minutes later, the weather was nice compared to the last couple of days, but pete told me that just one hour ago it had been hailing, which I hadn't noticed at all.
But I got to work and started doing all the stuff I am not allowed to tell you about, but for lunch I went with the layout guys as usual, on the way I saw a double rainbow and pointed it out and they began laughing because it reminded them of an autotuned song, tat I didn't know of, so we heard that on the way to togo's where I got myself a sandwich, good stuff!
Back at work I kept at it, and around 6.30 I caught a ride back home, I began working on my rubik's cube, because no one was home, yesterday after I had written my diary my 'landlady' got home and we had tea and talked, she gave me a couple of beers, and we had a nice time, she's not at home tonight, and I'm not really hungry so I'll head to bed, tomorrow I am commuting so I'll have to get up early, see ya all!

Day 14
15th of February
So this morning I got up early and checked my mail to see if I could catch a ride to work, which I apparently couldn't (mostly because I foolishly forgot to ensure a ride while I was at work), so I went back down to sleep for 15 minutes and got up again and went down to the metro, or the light rail, or whatever they call the underground train over here. I got on the train and headed to the ferry building, it was cloudy but it wasn't raining which was nice compared to yesterday where I was very wet when I finally got to work.
I got to the ferry building and saw the ferry was not in yet, so I got myself a cup of coffee and a ham and cheese croissant in peet's coffee, the croissant was good, but the coffee had a strange after-taste that somehow reminded me of the hostel I stayed at the first weekend, anyway, when I had got my breakfast the ferry was just about docked and I got to the gate, what I haven't told you these last few days because I am cutting down on the amount of text I am writing is that I got something called a clipper card now, it is free, and for some reason all public transportation is just about half price with this thing, so yay for me!
I drank the rest of my coffee aboard the ferry, and was a bit cross about the fact that there was no pretty girls on board today, yesterday I saw seals swimming around, today I didn't see any marine animals except for the birds on the surface which doesn't count. Still waiting for a great white to jump up into the air grabbing a seal like I've seen on tv, but I guess there is not deep enough waters for them to do so in the bay area, though I have seen on the internet that they can be found here.
I walked the one-hour long walk to work, and saw that unlike yesterday where it rained the latin americans were out standing around as usual despite the grey and boring weather, when I got to work I was still a little early, bu only around five minutes. For lunch I went with the layout guys to a bagel shop and got a bagel chicken sandwich with cheese and jalapeños on top, it was good. I also got a lemonade, it was so concentrated I had to drink it half-n-half (half water), before it tasted like I think it should.
I caught a ride home with Pete and he said he would pick me up at 9 tomorrow morning, which is great! Then I got down in my room, since no one is home and began writing a story about a guy who loves the sea, and now this diary page! Next step is a shower and then I might head out and find some food, but I am not really hungry, which I guess is a good thing, because I have no idea where to find food around here, and as previously established, my navigational skills are not as good as the bagel sandwich I got for lunch!
This is the Short story I wrote (and before people read too much into it; no it is not related to me but you, yes you!):

This is the Short story I wrote (and before people read too much into it; no it is not related to me but you, yes you!):
I love the sea, in fact I always wanted to become a sailor, but my parents told me I was too talented in school to be a sailor, I guess in some respects they were right, if you have talents you do not use they are wasted away and not helping the world, like they could have, I have always known, that no matter what I did in life I would succeed, I was the top of my class in almost all the classes I had, except I never really could muster any enthusiasm for literature or language before I got older.
But I was also very good at making friends and I was well liked, which is an important part of achieving what you want, unless you can do it without any help or business deals.
But I really do love the sea, my parents both has high income jobs, and have always supported me financially and emotionally, they weren't always there, but neither were they gone when I needed them, one might say they were away the perfect amount. When I had my first serious girlfriend over they were away so we could spend our time alone and get to know each other, the second time my mother was home so they could meet, but left while she was there so we ended up being alone for a while, and around the tenth time she came by both my parents were there, and she was comfortable with them at this point having met them under less pressure than when I met her parents, which was the first night I came to her place, we had a very awkward and quiet dinner, where all questions and attention were directed at me. It is like that for most people when they meet their first “in-laws”, but my parents were around the perfect amount.
When I was ten I talked my parents into going on a cruise, not that I actually wanted to go on a cruise, but because they didn't feel like bringing a ten-year-old on a trip around the world in a wooden ship, as I actually asked for, of course they were completely right, the cruise came to a handful of different locations, always with a handful of things to see, all of which we had planned on the way to each location, the cruise was on a very tight schedule and we always had to be on board one hour before leaving just to be sure they wouldn't leave port without us, it was a great trip and though I was just ten years old I still sometimes bring it up as the perfect wholesome vacation, and I just remembered how well it depicts my current situation, and my life in general.
My love for the sea has a lot to do with the way my life turned out I guess, I never really understood it before recently when I became interested in language and literature, but I have never felt true uncertainty, due to good judgment, good parents, good skill-set and a good life, I have never been in a situation where I feared for my life, was afraid of anything truly horrible happening, or stood with a choice that could have severe effect on my life. Of course I have felt nervous before meeting a girl, or going to a final exam, but I have rarely ever failed a test, and so far it seems girls always like me more than I like them, again I think this also have something to do with the sea and also my psyche.
I love the sea, but knowing that I am too smart to become a sailor, so I chose to become a marine biologist, I never thought about why, for some reason I chose to become a marine biologist when I was fourteen, and I've stuck with that ever since, my parents were just happy about me talking about something else than becoming a sailor, though they did urge me to become a scientist in chemistry or something similar when I became older, this was the only thing my parents never supported me in, not using your full potential, and though I did agree that it made sense, I never was able to let go of the idea of becoming a marine biologist, and since I was eighteen I began reading books about marine animals and plants, and began specializing in biology so I wouldn't waste too much of my potential.
I never liked reading fiction though, or watching tv for that matter, I always thought that it was better to have an adventure than it was to read about it, unless it had a factual lesson to teach like books on survival or books on expeditions, I never gave fiction credit for the lesson it actually taught us, how to understand other people. Weirdly enough this actually isn't what I learned from fiction, because I have never had trouble understanding other people, and how they felt, as I mentioned I have very good people skills, and I can usually tell what people think of me and each other pretty easily. No I have always been able to understand other people, the lesson I learned from fiction was to understand myself, I never realized that I didn't know why I loved the sea, and what was so attractive about the thought of being a sailor, I knew I could get higher paid jobs with the grades I was getting, I knew that being a sailor would cut me of socially, and I knew all the other drawbacks people told me about when I talked with them about becoming a sailor, but I never knew why I still had an incredible urge to do it anyway.
As I mentioned I always seem to like the girls I date less than they like me, I never understood why, or even questioned why, I just thought I was being too picky or always tried to ruin a good thing, because that was what my friends always told me, but it has always ended the same way, I broke up with them and most of our common friends all wanted to stay friends with me rather than the girls, it went as far once that I said no to a girl I really liked, because I was afraid the same thing would happen to her, but it happened anyway, she didn't feel comfortable around me, and our common friends still stuck with me, and for a while I became very guilt ridden and depressed, even though back then I didn't understand why, because I didn't stop to ask myself why.
But it all connects to my love of the sea, or more importantly why I love the sea, as we have established I have always felt secure, I have always had viable options, both in terms of professionally, socially and in my love life. I have always known that I would end up as a marine biologist, though many has come with suggestions for higher paid jobs, or jobs that were more challenging. Every aspect of my life has seemed to be fated, in the sense that everything turned out great, unless of course you knew what I felt like, which I never did until recently.
I have never been able to complain about my life, I have never been uncertain of my future, I have never been afraid that I would be alone unless I wanted to be alone, that is why I love the sea.
While standing on a boat looking out at the waves falling upon each other, I finally understood that. And only weeks before that had I asked the question; “Why did I chose become a marine biologist”, I did not ask because I regretted it, but because I honestly did not know, I knew I wanted to be a marine biologist, but though that had been enough for a long time, I knew then that it wasn't the real answer, neither was it because I liked animals, or even that I was fascinated by them, the answer was simply because I love the sea, and wouldn't become a sailor and waste my potential.
That realization lead to other realizations, I had always been dating girls that were suitable for a relationship, and while I liked all of them, I never really loved any of them, because they were reliable and steady, like the rest of my life was reliable and steady. What I came to realize is that I loved what I never had, the mysterious, untamable and chaotic sea. I came to the conclusion that all the decisions I have made in my life I didn't really understand made sense seen in the light that I have been seeking the things I never had, uncertainty, chaos and all that. It was strange to me, all of the sudden I began realizing how little I had truly moved through this world, though I was where I belonged; somewhere between science and the sea, I had really come no where before now when it cam to the journey within myself, I have never known who I was, only what I could do and what I wanted, but never how or why. I know now.
Day 13
14th of February
Last day of staying at random places, at least for now. I got up ate a pancake while I wrote about yesterday, I was kind of in a hurry, so I didn't write as much, neither will I write much today, since I have to get up early in the morning, in case I do not have a ride to work and I need to commune.
So I got on the internet and figured out how to get to the place where I was going to check out a room, I took the metro there, got lost, and finally found the right metro train and got to the right neighbourhood, but it was raining a bit so it was not as nice as the previous days, I got to the house, it is in a nice neighbourhood by the way, and got shown around, the lady living here is very nice and welcoming, and I look forward to stay here for the next month or so.
I hurried back towards work, got on a tram, or what they are called, and got to the ferry 10 minutes too late, so I grabbed some coffee and some brunch in the shape of a grilled cheese sandwich, I just had to try it. I waited for the ferry to arrive got on board took the trip and then I had to walk for an hour in the rain to get to work, needless to say, I was quite wet.
I was lucky to catch a ride home by a guy making visual stuff for marketing, and he drove me almost to the door, well I said it would be short, so good night I'm off to bed! Here's to hoping I got mail during my beauty sleep...

Day 12
13th of February
So today I got up and got pancakes for breakfast, and hurried away from the hostel over to bo's place, I feel a little guilty about living here and not spending any time with all the people who grave my attention so, but I wanna hang with bo because we can walk around and talk about people in danish and be really rude and stuff.
I got over there and tried to use their wifi, but failed horribly we had agreed to go to the MOMA, where I had been already, but I thought it wouldn't hurt going again, but before we went there we got sidetracked a couple of times, which lead to me buying a hat for $1, it's a little much, but being the attention sponge I am, also it being so cheap I bought it.
We got to the MOMA, and I saw the same stuff as before, this time I spend a little more time on some of the exhibits I walk past fast last time, and visa versa. We got out around 5 PM, after having spent time in the museum shop as well.
For dinner we went to the fisherman's wharf and got soup in a bread-bowl, it was pretty good and pretty filling, so I couldn't eat up, on the way back we took a look in a hat store, but the hats there was way to spectacular with all sorts of shiny bits and pieces, so we didn't buy anything.
Seems like I'm skipping all the funny stuff today, sorry about that, but then we went home and played guitar and sang a bit and then I went to the hostel, and now I'm going to bed.. Yeah, I pretty much skipped all the good parts today, guess you will never know how much fun I had today, maybe it's because I got really tired all of the sudden.
But at least I didn't drink any soda today..

Day 11
12th of February
I had decided to join bo and his german friend Friederike on a trip to the forests, but when I called bo he asked if I had a driver's license, and I knew something were up, but we got out and looked for a bus, but we couldn't find any and ended up deciding to take the ferry to sausalito, but before we did we looked around at the farmers marked Friederike got some cookies and bo and I got some lemonade.
Then we sat waiting for the ferry and enjoying the view of the ocean for 15 minutes, got on the ferry and went to sausalito, on the railing was a stupid brown seagull we took a couple of pictures and I expressed my despise for birds, fortunately the seagull flew away when the ferry started moving, bo and Friederike ate m&m's with peanut butter, and since I really did not want to taste it, I bought a bag (those small ones) of BBQ chips.
When we got to sausalito it took about two seconds to figure out this was a very touristy place, one shop after the other carried souvenirs, and I realised I probably should try and figure out who was worthy of receiving such an honourable gift before buying anything, so I'll do that some other day, we walked up hill I didn't know where we were heading, neither did any of us I reckon, until we realised we were going in the direction of golden gate bridge, then I think all of us knew just where we were going.
After a long walk we began seeing the red steel peering over the hilltops, after a longer walk we could see the bridge itself, and after an even longer walk we came to a section of road that split up into three directions, so we sat around, or I did, trying to decide which way to go, but fortunatly Friederike's german intuition guided us in the right direction and after a long, long walk we came to the bridge itself, we first went to the parking lot to sit down and take some pictures, but then after a little rest and a boat of the sweetest orange I've tasted in my life, we began walking across the bridge, I didn't think it was possible, but there was a lot of people walking across.
After a long, windy and adventurous walk across the bridge, involving such horrible terrors as a guy on a bike we heroically stepped to the side to avoid and a car-crash on the bridge that was being cleaned up by the police while we walked by we luckily made to the other side with all limbs intact, we went in to a little shop and bought something to drink, and it was so expensive! A bottle of sprite costed almost the same as it would in denmark! I was horrified by the expensive beverage, but being a man of courage I bought it any way to quench my thirst.
After a short rest on a bench we walked on, we came to a place called crissy field and we soon realized our trouble was not over, not one or twice, but twenty-one thousand three hundred and twenty-five times did Friederike get a pebble in her shoe, the nasty pebbles numbered in the hundreds of millions, but bo and I fought our way through, and though Friederike had to empty her shoe a couple of times, we survived this endeavour of bravery, and soon we would be walking on pebbleless ground, what we soon would realise though was we had walked from the ashes into the fire.
We found ourselves in one of the rich areas of san francisco, and there was rich people everywhere, we kept a low profile and used our extensive knowledge of the rich people's traditions and rituals, to avoid upsetting their territorial behaviour, at one point I found myself standing in the way of one of the elderly rich in a vehicle driven by the rich, she probably was a shaman or a storyteller, and upsetting her would truly make the situation a lot more dangerous, but disaster was averted by quickly moving on before she could get out of her primitive vessel.
Then we came to the alluring forests of the shopping streets, infamous for trapping even the bravest of adventurers in an endless trance, also known as the shopping spree. One or twice we were lured into a shop, and had it not been for the poor selection of men's apparel and bo's willpower of rocky iron diamond, we got through without any long term infections of the shopping spree.
Then we ate in one of the local villages, and being in a foreign and alien world we failed to realise that in this villages those seated together were to share the food, so we asked for a dish each, which was a bit weird to them, but we managed not to upset them by bringing them gift's of the civilized world in the form of currency.
We walked on and by now it was getting dark, we stopped by a wallgreen's and bought some stuff, and another shop and I got a towel, we soon arrived at well known shores and we ended the day by playing the guitar and singing songs of our previous adventures.

Day 10
11th of February
So once again I did not get around to writing my diary in the evening so I'm doing it in the morning, but it was the last night at the motel, which made me feel a strange feeling like it was good to be moving towards something cheaper an more permanent, but also sad because I now knew how to get both to work and into the city, I packed my stuff, ate my sugary breakfast, filmed my room and said my goodbyes.
I decided to film the way to work I've been walking for the past five days, except that one day when I took the scenic route, I'll be uploading all this stuff when I get around to cutting it and so on.
I got to work early, and began UV-wrapping a rubik's cube for my rubik's cube project in unity, and ate bagels, because apparently friday is bagel day at the office.
I got off work around 7 PM and met up with John who had a room in his house I was going to take a look at, and I might live there, I am still looking at a house on monday, which is closer to people from TTG and also closer to the city, but I might arrange a combination of the two so I'll live each of the places for a duration of time.
I took the bart into town, to meet up with bo, on the bart train I talked with a nice gay guy who was going to meet up with a guy he really liked on a bar, so he was really nervous, I always enjoy people who are falling in love, they are all so nervous and happy, and scared, and stuff. Which at the moment I am not really, except for happy about being where I am.
So I got of the train at montgomery st. and called bo to get directions, and we met up on the way, I really had to pee, so we went back to the place he lives and I commandeered their toilet after having shortly said hi to the people there. Afterwards we went out looking for a hostel, bo knew one close to where he lives so I went there and fortunately there was vacancies, and I'm living there until monday.
So me and bo went out in town to find a starbucks or something like that it took us a long time to find on, but we enjoyed just sharing stories of our grand adventures and all the enemies we've defeated in increasingly fantastic ways, we ended up at a starbucks I got coffee and bo got hot chocolate, we talked about how many times we've saved the world, and the fantastic ways of which we managed to do so.
Afterwards we took a walk back to the hostel, but went on a long detour while we shared stories about how we averted the end of the universe by putting a giant gem in a temple on earth, or sliding a statue in place on earth, or bought a pair of socks on earth, and how the universe in reality revolves around earth, and more importantly; us. So I got back at the hostel and went to sleep.
Sorry it wasn't longer today, but I have to leave now, and before I do I need to brush my teeth, soooo I'm a bit short on time, see ya!

Day 9
10th of February
I'll keep it short tonight, as I got started a little late, but like every other morning I got up around 7 AM, started my computer and took a shower, only this morning there were clothes everywhere, so first I got all that sorted out. I have thrown one of my earplugs away in my sleep, damnit!
But after the shower I went down for some free sugary breakfast cereal, ate it and got out of the door, because Pete had told me there was a scenic route to work, and I wanted to make sure that when I got lost I had time to find my way back again, actually this morning I didn't really get lost, I mean I did a little but only for a few feet or so, so it doesn't really count I think, but it was a nice route compared to walking by the freeway.
So I got to work, brushed off the scene I worked with yesterday as it were a bit wonky in some places, and that's all I'm gonna say about that, I went to lunch with two, out of three of the layout guys we had sandwiches, and as per usual I couldn't figure out how to order because I didn't know what they said when they asked; “do you want salpepasourcrustoronion bread?” so I heard onion somewhere in there and went for that, which is how I usually order.
When we got back I showed the layout guys one of the bachelor films from the school, and they were really impressed, so much actually that one of them asked how much tuition were and said he would have liked to go to my school instead of the one he went to, so I asked my good pal John from Ohio who went to the school how much US. Students pay in tuition.
I got another shot to do, and that's all I'm gonna say about that, and when I was done I had to sit by my computer while it worked on some undisclosed stuff that I'm not gonna tell you about, so I started to doodle around a bit, first I tried out drawing some stuff in puzzle agent style, but it wasn't very good, so I turned back to my usual style and began drawing dr. Horrible (from the award winning show dr. Horrible's sing along blog), and it turned out quite nicely for a first draft, might finish it later if I get the time.
Then the computer finished whatever it was doing and I went home, on the way I thought that I wasn't in the mood for mexican food tonight either, so I went by the food marked and looked around, I ended up buying chicken with really crusty skin, mmmmm...
tomorrow I have to leave my motel room, it was nice as long as it lasted, but I think I am going to enjoy some place else even more! But for now good night, I should get to bed, I haven't been up so late (11 PM) on a week night since I came to the states, I guess I am finally kicking my jet lag in the butt! See you tomorrow.

Day 8
9th of February
So this morning I got up and started writing my diary, because foolishly I had fallen asleep yesterday before doing so, around 8 AM I went down to the motel's office and extended my stay until friday, where I'll be heading downtown to live at a hostel and to find my good friend Bo who came to SF yesterday, maybe I can talk him in to join in on a pub crawl or something to do some dancing, and experience SF night life.
So I got my stay extended and I decided to eat breakfast at the motel for once, so I grabbed a bowl of frosted flakes and a cup of apple juice, the best I could say about that breakfast was that I'd already paid for it trough the rent.
I got of a little early, a little too early because half a minute after having left the room I realized my fleece blanket still was on the bed. Which of course is unacceptable. So I went back to my room and put the blanket in a drawer where it belongs during day time, I got to work only 15 minutes before time.
I met with the programmer John for lunch, he has a room in the new house he bought and he is willing to sublet it to me for $500 a month, which is a really good price, the only snags are that his in-laws will be living there through february, and it's nowhere near the downtown area. I also have another possibility which is close by all the TTG (telltale game) folk and the downtown area, it costs $150 a week, which by the way is what I am paying to stay two days extra at the motel. But I cannot check that out until monday.
But we went to the same place I got my shoes, the marin shopping center thingy, and we got mexican lunch, I got super-nachos for around $7, it was very good and very filling, so much that I'm not eating dinner tonight. But we got back to work, I got my stuff done around 7 PM an hour late, and Pete gave me a ride to the motel.
So far it seems like I am keeping up with expectations, each of the assignments I've done so far has been well received, and apparently I am doing well enough for them to be comfortable with handing me more of the same kinds of assignments. I am not sure if I can tell you when the game is shipping out, but when it does I'll tell you what game I've worked on and what to look for if you do play it.
When I got home, an hour late I remembered I needed to do laundry so I'd have clean underwear tomorrow morning, so I grabbed my laundry bags and headed in the direction the manager had told me yesterday, I went there and was completely confused, but luckily there was a nice latin american man who could tell me how stuff worked, While the laundry was being busy I went to a market next to the laundromat. I bought a 2 l. Soda for $1.4, cheap, the girl at the counter smiled shyly at me, and I smiled back at her with the most friendly charming smile I could muster, and felt good about myself for about 30 seconds until I got back and saw I had 18 minutes to go.
So I watched the latin americans and walked around a bit aimlessly, and one point some of te latin americans were laughing pretty lively at some contact notes hangning on the wall, but my spanish is very poor, so I could not read it my self, but it was something like this: “risa por lo que el hombre no entiende español se confunde”
after 18 excruciatingly boring minutes my clothes were all done and I decided not to spend more time at the laundromat, who knows what could happen after 8 PM at a laundromat in a neighbourhood where everyone, according to south park, is looking for jobs. So I put my laundry in bags and headed home, I hung it up to dry where ever I could, and it turned out it was less than a problem than I had first anticipated, so hurray for me making the right decision for once.
And now I am drinking my coffee and sitting in my bed enjoying the fact that I have not heard from the MoA today either, and with the new design I put up a couple of days ago my blog is just even more awesome, and the MoA still has no proof that suggest my blog's blogstream contains any awesome-enhancers, but they did tell me back when they took the first test, that the blogstream contained 50% as much awesomones as a regularly awesome blog, which is a lot compared to blogs who as many fans, like spoonyexperiment.com which on the last checkup the MoA did had only 60% higher than regular awesomones, and spoony has a giant fanbase, so the awesomeness of my blog clearly surpasses the spoony one, or it would if I had as many fans.
I will try to think of something that will make my blog more awesome, but for now I'm gonna sign of, good night!

Day 7
8th of February
It seems the amount of stuff to write about gets less and less, maybe I should begin doing weekly diaries instead? But I got up this morning as usual and turned on my laptop so people from denmark could get in touch with me before I headed of to work, I decided I was going to buy some breakfast in the giant food store a little away from the motel, I bought some fruit and yoghurt in a cup, which I thought was a brilliant idea for around $5, but it turned out the yoghurt was very sweet and sugary so that wasn't a huge success, I got to the office, and today I got to do some actual work that will wind up in a released game! I can't tell much specific but I am going to be doing the same work on a couple of different scenes, since the result I handed in was good.
Around lunch a couple of the guys sitting around where I sit, who I am dubbing the layout guys, invited me to go with them, we drove to a bagel shop and I got a bagel sandwich with chicken and bacon, and a bag of chips, which is kind of the standard thing that goes with a meal around here, so I talked with the layout guys about their school and my school, and stuff like that, seems they do have a couple of inside jokes I'll have to get familiar with, but they seem like really nice folks.
We drove back, or we tried to, because seemingly getting lost with me doesn't require me actually having anything to do with me having any control over the direction we are moving, or maybe I am just not the only one good at getting lost. But we got back, and only crossed one bridge, which we admittedly turned around and crossed again.
So some hours later when I got off work I headed home and thought, I don't feel like eating mexican today, I'll try buying something at this store called more for less, MISTAKE! Embarrassingly enough I ended up having to pay $6.35 for a frozen pizza because I didn't feel like leaving without anything, and I really didn't want mexican, and that was all I knew except burger king which I find self explanatory.
But I ate the damn pizza, and it tasted like regret, regret and pepperoni, I tried getting to work on my rubic's cube, but instead I began watching spoony's ultima 7 review, and AVGN's star wars games review, to which I fell asleep around 9 PM, which is why I wrote this in the morning after still pretending that it is yesterday evening, but who am I kidding really? I just admitted to writing it now and not yesterday, so no one is gonna believe me if I said I wrote it yesterday.
Status update on the MoA; none, I haven't heard from them today, which I read on the internet is a good thing, it probably means their case is falling appart and they are keeping low profile should we end up in awesome-court because if they loose the case and if they have been treating me too poorly during the investigation, I get to apply for an awesome-training programme for my blog, funded by the MoA. And those things run in the vicinity of 400'000 awsums (awsums unfortunatly does not translate to any other currency).
Well, I am not going to bed now, but I am heading for work, a bit early but what the hell when you enjoy something you shouldn't sit around doing nothing to avoid it!
See you all later, hopefully I won't be as tired tonight so I can write this diary.

Day 6
7th of February
So first day of work, pete had told me I didn't have to be in before 10.30, so when I got up and had taken a shower I stayed on my computer a bit longer than I would usually have, but it seems between 4 PM and 5 PM in denmark is a time period where no one is online.
I got out of my motel room and headed to the place pete and I had grabbed breakfast last thursday, I got a number 5 which was scrambled eggs, beans, some nachos and a onion/tomato/some more stuff salad and a cup of coffee, but the coffee today was too strong for me, and apparently some of the other customers, because I could tell I wasn't the only one who hadn't finished my coffee when I handed in my plate and cup.
Then I walked to work, on the way I came by a shop called “A Fertile World” which I found hilarious because I thought it was a fertility shop, but it turns out it's just a plant shop, then a little later I came by a “Pagan Construction”, which again to me was marvellously laughable.
I walked past the Extended stay hotel which I knew was close to the studio, I looked at my watch and decided I did indeed have time to get a little lost, so instead of doing the reasonable thing and staying in near vicinity of the hotel I wandered on, and indeed got lost as so many times before. However I did manage to get to the studio on time after having wandered a bit around the area.
I signed a non-disclosure agreement, which means I am not allowed to tell you if I wore socks to work, whether my chair was comfortable or if the people are nice. Unless of course I do not understand every single nook and granny of the legal language, a thought I must deem completely unlikely!
But I guess I could spare you a few details like; I had a really good impression of the company and the people working there when I left this evening!
And; The vendor machine had cashew nuts for $0.65.
After a long hard day at work, or at least a day at work, I got home and decided that today would be a good day to try out the american burger king in reference to the danish burger king. Guys, there is no difference in disgustingness but the meal is larger and cheaper, but I'm not gonna do that often, or I'll get so fat they won't allow me on the plane home. It's funny though; since I live in a latin american inhabited area, even the guy behind the counter in burger king says; “por favor?” when my danish-english mumbling is too incomprehensible.
I got back in my motel room ate, fooled around with my unity rubic's cube a bit and now I am going to bed! Love, peace and hamburgers!

Day 5
6th of February
So when I got up this morning I began writing the diary, because I've been hopelessly behind, which also sadly means I might cut down a little bit on the amount of stupid details I'll include. I might enjoy making you all read stuff like; “I then lifted my foot and shook my weight over above the other leg by moving my hip, I moved the foot forwards and put it down on the pavement, I was careful that my foot did not hit any of the lines...” and making you believe it is actually interesting at some strange minute level, but the ministry of awesome (MoA) called today and they told me that my blog was being suspected for using awesome-enhancing drugs! Also I this is very time consuming and I am running low on time warps because the MoA has limited my supply severely until a judge of the awesome court can decide whether my blog is doped or not, so I'll have to be a little more critical about what I decide to write about (of which this first paragraph is a brilliant example).
I got out of bed and went downstairs to write my diary, I waited for my roomies and went to the kitchen to get breakfast, while I ate I wrote in my diary, and IM'ed people in denmark, this was the last day at the hostel, both for me, but also for the three girls living in my dorm room, they were going to the Museum of Modern Art, or MOMA for short, and while writing my diary, eating and IM'ing I was trying to decide whether to join them or not.
I ended up deciding to go as well, the english bloke also joined in on the artsy fun, we got checked out and went to the museum, the girl from holland had some other business to attend to so she didn't join us, but the girls had a friend waiting for them in a park nearby so we ended up being a nice little group anyway.
I could talk about the exhibitions but I don't know if I can do it without talking about the subtlety of the curves in the doorhandles to the bathroom of the museum and how it really accentuates the colour of the eyes of the ticket lady. And don't even get me started on the art itself! So I won't be talking about it, I do not have the time with these awesome-cuts we've had to make in our budget! But what I can and will say is; that we only got halfway through the museum in a couple of hours, and that it was half price because the second floor was closed.
I left my roomies and hurried towards the ferry, because I thought I had read my time chart correctly, but I hadn't, so when I got to the ferry in what I thought was in good time, I realised after looking at the timecharts that I was an hour early, so I went for a little walk and took a picture of a tower and a seagull, and went back in time for the ferry, I got a bag of chips and a lemonade on the ferry.
When I got home I wrote in my diary again so I could get part 2 of day 4 finished, I got it done, then I took a shower and went for mexican food again, it was good again, and I tipped very graciously again, I got back home and began writing this entry, because I had to keep up so I wouldn't fall behind, also the MoA is watching the blog closely, because one of the symptoms of taking awesome-enhancers is when you stop taking those enhancers your awesomeness will diminish to even lower levels than when you started, and not blogging at all about one day would seem really suspicious and would weaken my defence. To everyone wondering; no my blog is clean! Good night people.
