Day 16

17th of February
Today I got up early, or well I tried to get up early, but I got up early enough to commute to work, I got all my stuff together and got ready to leave, despite it being really rainy outside, but before I left I realized something, I had no wallet, then began the search, I looked everywhere.

I tried writing the guy who gave me a lift yesterday, but I did not manage to get a hold of him before he was at work, so I decided to take the ferry with some money I had stashed away, when the woman who's house I live in came home, we had a cup of coffee talked and I decided to show my digital rubik's cube to her, so I got my back pack and took out my laptop, but when I tried to get it back inside my backpack it simply wouldn't fit! So I pulled whatever was in the way out of there, and guess what, it was my wallet.

I borrowed an umbrella and went to work, you wouldn't believe how funny a rainy day and a city full of steep hills are, I saw a flight of stairs with water pouring down like a waterfall, I was in a rush so unfortunately I did not get a picture.
I got on the metro/light-rail/what-ev's-man and got to the ferry just as the passengers began to leave the ferry, the trip to larkspur today was pretty awesome, which reminds me I forgot to mention that the MoA has dropped all charges, and my blog will be compensated with an extra amount of awesome this weekend! Sorry sidetracking, but the waves were pretty tall and the ferry swayed from side to side.

I had arranged for me to be picked up by one of the layout guys, which was really cool because I was already late. We grabbed lunch, I got a beef chilli and cheese sandwich, it was good but the chilli-sauce got all over the place. I arrived at work around 1.15 PM, only a bit more than 3 hours late.

When I got to San Francisco again, after a less interesting ferry-ride I went to AT&T's and got myself an american phone-number, which is essential I have realized. I got on the underground train thingy I never know what to call, and got of at castro, the gay neighbourhood, I then walked up 17th street, which is steep, and up hill all the way, so I have burned a lot of fat in my legs, which means I'm really funny looking, with fat fingers and skinny toes. I got home exhausted and tried to set the internet up correctly on mine and... okay I am gonna use a few names now and again... artemis' computer, artemis is the woman who lives in the house where I am renting a room, and I am using her name, because saying that each time is too silly, and she doesn't really fit under the term land-lady I think.

But I got it to work correctly and after doing some research on renting offices and maya and stuff one would need to start a proper company, I decided to take a shower and go to bed, so I did, or well at least the shower part, right now I am writing diary, but after this I am heading to bed so I can get up tomorrow morning and commute, and today I know where my wallet is, so no panicking tomorrow! Please, no rain tomorrow, fingers crossed. Goodnight!
